LEVEL 1
As the demand for skilled Technique Specialists is at a critical level due to increase in movement related injuries and increase in numbers of participants in athletic activities, practitioners who hold the CRTS certification are well positioned to provide the professional skills necessary to lead and achieve successful results.
To earn the Certification, you must pass the Certification Exam.
LEGAL NAME
Your name must be your legal name.
DATE OF BIRTH
Your name and birthdate must match your official state issued IDs that you will be asked to upload during the application process.
IDENTIFICATION
You will need to submit two (2) forms of ID with your application. If documents are in a language other than English, they must be translated, notarized and uploaded along with the original documents.

PRIMARY ID
Accepted forms of identification: Driver’s license, ID card (issued by federal, state or local government agencies or entities, provided it contains a photograph and information such as name, date of birth, gender, height, eye color and address ), Passport, Passport card, U.S. Military card, Military dependent’s ID card.
SECONDARY ID
Accepted forms of identification: Health insurance or Medicare card, Voter ID card, Employment ID card, Professional license (such as nurse, beautician, mechanic, etc.), Flight Crew ID card, Union membership card, Military records, Selective Service registration, Diploma or school transcript.

CANCELLATION/FEE REFUND
The examination fee is refundable (minus US$50 processing fee) if the candidate notifies the Academy’s Certification Department that he or she no longer wants to take the exam. This notice must be submitted in writing . To cancel an exam that has been paid for a notification must be given within 30 days of registering for the exam.
NON-STARTERS
A candidate who does not start the exam within six (6) months of registering for the exam will be considered a non-starter. A non-starter is treated like a failed exam. Non-starters will be allowed to proceed with the exam upon completing the payment of the US$50 reactivation fee.
EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES/NO FEE PENALTY
If a candidate is unable to proceed with the examination within the allotted time-frame of one year due to emergency or hardship such as serious illness of either the candidate or an immediate family member, death in the immediate family, disabling traffic accident, or military duty, he or she will be permitted to extend the time-frame to take the exam at no additional charge as long as the following requirement is met:
If such a request is not made, the candidate will forfeit the full examination fee and be considered a non-starter.
