State of Nevada Physical Therapy Board accepts the use of CE Broker – continuing education system to find, track, and report continuing education to the board. Take our course(s) or seminars and we will automatically report your continuing education hours once you receive your Certificate of Completion.
Continuing Education Requirements
NEVADA MINIMUM ANNUAL REQUIREMENT – 15 Continuing Competence Units (CCUs). The current continuing competence requirement in Nevada will be due on July 31, 2025
Physical Therapist: 15 CCU
A licensed physical therapist shall earn a minimum of 15 continuing competence units for each compliance period to be eligible for license renewal.
Physical Therapist Assistant: 15 CCU
A physical therapist assistant shall earn a minimum of 15 continuing competence units for each compliance period to be eligible for certificate renewal.
Requirements for Renewal
Every physical therapist or physical therapist’s assistant must complete a minimum of 15 CCUs of an approved course within the year immediately preceding his or her application for the renewal of his or her license.
A licensure year begins August 1 and ends July 31.
