Soldiers may request CA funding in ArmyIgnitED for any credential that is currently listed on Army COOL.
The Pose Method Running Skill Training course is a standardized approach to running training that is part of the updated US Army FM 7-22. It focuses on improving running skill and biomechanics in order to optimize performance, increase speed and reduce the risk of lower leg injuries. The course provides online instruction, includes practice sessions and follow-along videos.

DURATION: The course totals 20 hrs and is entirely self-paced. Study online any time at your convenience.
CONTENT: Lectures, presentations, instructional and concept videos on running technique, training and video analysis, as well as follow-along videos for practice and application for individual as well as group training.

How to Access Your Training Course?
The Pose Method of Running training course is available online so in order to study you would want to have a setup that is suitable to watch a movie online – high speed internet with a stable connection.
Important: you will be able to access the course beginning on your official Start Date or after. For example, if your Start Date is January 10 – you will get your login email and will be able to access the course on January 10 and after. You will not be able to login on January 5.
IAW ArmyIgnitED regulations access cannot be provided prior to official start date.

Once you get approved for this training course your access will never expire. Feel free to return to review the course at any time and at your convenience.
Important:
To complete and close your ArmyIgnitED funding request for this training course, you must complete the course by your official End Date. You can see the Start Date and the End Date for each of your funding requests on your ArmyIgnitED account dashboard.
How to Change Your Email attached to the course?

Military Service Obligation
Service Obligation (Enlisted): None.
Service Obligation (Commissioned Officers): None.
The service obligation for the CA program has been removed. This applies to all CA requests submitted and/or completed on or after 13 October 2021. CA request end date in ArmyIgnitED must reflect a date of 13 October 2021 or after.
CA requests completed prior to 13 October 2021 must still complete the applicable service obligation incurred at that time; Regular Army, AGR, and mobilized commissioned officers (under Title 10 or Title 32 authority) incur an Additional Duty Service Obligation (ADSO) of two years and Reserve Component officers (USAR and ARNG) incur a Reserve Duty Service Obligation (RDSO) of four years. The CA military service obligation commences on the ending date of each course for which CA was approved.
