Yes, the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy uses CE Broker to track Continuing Competence.

However, licensees and certificate holders may also independently track their own continuing competence activities. If audited, they can download and submitted electronically this Continuing Competence Audit Reporting Form, with all associated continuing competence certificates of completion, to the Board office. Licensees and certificate holders selected for continuing competence audit will be noticed via certified mail.

What are the continuing education requirements for physical therapy in Arizona?

Similarly to most US states, Arizona State mandates continuing education requirements for licensed Physical Therapists and PTAs.

An Arizona licensed physical therapist needs to earn 20 contact hours of continuing competence and a certified physical therapist assistant needs to earn 10 contact hours of continuing competence for each two (2) year compliance period to be eligible for license/certificate renewal.
