License Renewal Requirements for Physical Therapists + Physical Therapy Assistants
The following courses are rule approved by the North Dakota State Board of Physical Therapy and meet the Continuing Competency requirements for PTs and PTAs for continuing education activities and unit standards in accordance with the North Dakota Administrative Code (CH61.5-03-02-02).
All physical therapists and physical therapist assistants must obtain twenty-five units of continuing competence every two years to be eligible for licensure or relicensure. There shall be no carryover of continuing competence units to the next reporting period.
Every 2 years, all physical therapists must complete a total of 25 continuing competence units (CCUs)
